The club, part of the Golden Nugget's $60 million expansion project, is one of the newest pieces in Downtown's blossoming nightlife scene and brings its own unique atmosphere to the party. Spread out in a long, skinny, vaguely rectangular shape, Gold Diggers offers a killer patio with a killer view at the front (from the club's second-story location, you get a look at the Fremont Street Experience, both the people and the awesome show on the canopy overhead) and space for a DJ and the accompanying dancing crowds in the back. A red-backed bar, complete with cute ladies dancing atop it, runs about half the length of the inside space, while a square bar keeps those on the patio from going thirsty. And with all the great music pouring from Gold Diggers' speakers, it would be a shame to not have a little space for some hip-shaking. Luckily, a sizeable dance floor sits near the stage in the back.
